Oliver Hertzog hit the jackpot Sunday when he caught this giant bluegill at Old River. On a trip with son, Alex, and father-in-law, Don Drummond, the Baton Rouge fisherman said a cricket on a weighted hook in the Ball Park area paid off for this 1.63-pound bluegill, which, if certified, will be the top bluegill in the State Top 10 Fish Records.
